Helping you and your little one feel heard

Play-based and family-centred communication + feeding support

“Wait and see” doesn’t mean “wait and struggle”

Dearest parent or caregiver. If…

  • You are feeling anxious or concerned…

  • Your child is regularly getting frustrated and upset…

  • Your interactions are often more stressful than bonding…

You don’t have to try everything by yourself or wait and “hope for the best.”

As a parent, you know your child better than anyone else. If your intuition is telling you that something might be wrong, you’re likely right! (And please know it’s not your fault).

You need someone in your corner who knows the ins and outs of speech, language, and feeding development so that you can put worry aside and feel confident moving forward.

Hey there, I’m Sarah!

I first dreamt of becoming a speech pathologist (or SLP) in middle school when I saw the impact therapy made on a close friend after he lost his ability to communicate.

Many years of school and experience later, my team and I now help children and parents learn to communicate more effectively through holistic, play-based interventions for the littlest among us.

If you’ve ever worried about your child’s development, you’re in the right place!

We're Your Child’s Advocate

At Brighten Therapy, we help you build the confidence you need to understand and support your child’s speech, language, and feeding development — no matter what stage they’re at right now.

Through play-based, individualized, child-led therapy, you'll learn to recognize how your child is communicating and teach them in a way they’ll understand — so both you AND your child feel heard!
